You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Requirements and Assessments Department of COMNAVSPECWARGRU 2.

Duties
You will collaborate with component command stakeholders and technical subject matter experts to define the technical specifications for a new or revised Naval Special Warfare item of equipment.
You will present requirement concept briefing to the NSWG2 Commander for approval. Develop official correspondence to forward approved requirements to NAVSPECWARCOM for staffing, validation and forwarding to USSOCOM for approval.
You will assemble an Integrated Process Team made up of subordinate command reps, staff subject matter experts, and NAVSPECWARCOM Acquisition Strategy Manager to develop technical specifications.
You will collect and prioritize component commands’ needs for Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation.
You will oversee the development of Combat Evaluation Proposals, Evaluation Plans, and Decision Memorandums to document the technical needs, evaluation findings, and recommendations for future procurement or additional system development.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret/SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing, organizing, or directing program resources for the acquisition of operational equipment; and tracking or maintaining acquisition program developments or lists of acquisition programs that are conducting material development.
