You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT; N4 of COMNAVSPECWARGRU 2.

Duties

You will the sole technical expert and NSWG-2 project coordinator for complex contracted efforts. You will work closely with the Contracts Department (N01C) of Naval Special Warfare Command to ensure NSWG-2 requirements are captured through a range of acquisition. You will be responsible for the completeness of all Special Operations Forces Resources Requirements and Assessments (SOFRRAS) documentation for submission to the Echelon III Service Requirements Review Board (SRRB). You will assist with the planning, organizing, and directing of activities to ensure objectives are met and areas of emphasis are achieved

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing technical documentation and forecasting contract plans, performing lifecycle contracting processes to include the preparation of reports on contractors' performance, recommended payment, and validating contractor claims.
