You will serve as a INSTALLATION COORDINATOR in the INSTALLATION & LOGISTICS DIRECTORATE of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.
Duties
You will coordinate all administrative requirements with the administrative heads of the Departments, other components of the Directorate, Support Supervisors and similar personnel of other departments of Base and tenant units.
You will ensure that all personnel actions required of the Directorate are completed properly and in a timely manner.
You will coordinates with the Manpower and HRO to establish and maintain required personnel files, timekeeping, leave administration, pay and classification matters, requests for personnel actions and other personnel matters are correctly managed.
You will support documentation and processing of military awards and fitness reports for assigned military and manages the office coverage and leave schedules for the Directorate leadership and installations team.
You will assist in studies to determine future change to the division's functions, organization, workload and staffing and the impact of such changes.
You will assist in the analysis of work flow and other processes, practices and procedures within the Directorate Office, and recommend improvements to continuously develop new ideas to improve processes and increase efficiency.
You will advise the Director and Deputy of any budget or fiscal problems; coordinates with the Budget Officer and others to positively resolve any budget or budget-related issues.
You will provide oral and written communication in order to resolve problems, perform necessary coordination, conduct interviews with supervisors and employees, obtain information about organizational missions, functions and work procedures.
Requirements
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Oversee coordinating, planning, and performing within the facilities, supply, and housing directorate daily operations and procedures: assist department personnel recruitment action and onboarding functions; ensure timekeeping, leave administration, and pay are current; and prepare endorsements, draft letters, correspondence (e.g. base orders, messages, reports) are ready for release, and coordinate briefings for a diverse senior level and staff.
