You will serve as an EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT in the MCB Hawaii's Office of the Commanding Officer of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.
Duties
You will be coordinating and/or assisting in the coordination of all event and visitor matters under the cognizance of the CO (Commanding Officer), MCB Hawaii.
You will be expected to provide advice to the CO via the CoS in the development of programs/policies designed to improve and maintain full understanding and support of the American people and of visiting dignitaries visitors, including Allies,
You will be to provide leadership, expertise and direction in the planning and execution of small and largescale events and conferences for a varied constituency including military staff, foreign and domestic dignitaries.
You will Maintains open communications with MCB Hawaii Directorates/subordinate commands, and as necessary tenant commands, to ensure an ongoing comprehensive knowledge of the overall programs/goals of the Commander.
You will be responsible for developing and executing plans, policies and procedures for managing staff actions, projects, and activities.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting and developing administrative policies/procedures; overseeing administrative projects and command support activities; coordinating staff actions and tasks; providing administrative support to senior level officials; and coordinating high level conferences and visits.
