You will serve as a Science Advisor Program Deputy Director in the Office of Naval Research Global of ONR INTL FIELD OFFICE EUROPE.
Duties
You will assist in managing and directing the work of 23 Science Advisors that are deployed to operational fleet/ force commands across the globe.
You will facilitate, coordinate, track and monitor SA program activities.
You will conceive, organize plans, and assist in the execution of SA program events.
You will monitor and strengthen relationships and collaboration across Naval resourcing, acquisition, development, and operational organizations.
You will represent the SA program office in meetings and events.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/13 grade level or pay band (NP-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following duties: 1.) Facilitating, coordinating, tracking and monitoring SA program activities; 2.) Conceiving, organizing plans, and assisting in the execution of SA program events to include recruiting, annual industry tour, annual hiring and interviewing; 3.) Monitoring and strengthening relationships and collaborations across Naval resourcing, acquisition, development and operational organizations; 4.) Representing the program office in meetings and events; and 5.) Assisting in managing and directing the work of the command.
