You will serve as a International Science Deputy Program Manager in the Office of Naval Research Gloabl.
Duties
You will manage the internal operations of the International Science Program.
You will orchestrate the annual development and curation of the International Science Program Plan, feeding into the Global Engineering Plan (GEP).
You will oversee the International Science Program's Strategic Communication Plan, to include regular reporting and communications to flag/general officers and senior government officials.
You will maintain regular channels of communication within the International Science Program, through formal and informal interaction, collaboration, and coordination with the Regional Chief Scientist and the Science Directors.
You will establish new and strengthen existing relationships across ONR and the Naval Research and Development Establishment.
You will represent the International Science Program in the absence of the Program Manager and conduct other duties as assigned by the International Science Program Manager.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/13 grade level or pay band (NP-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following duties: 1.) Managing the internal operations of the International Science Program; 2.) Orchestrating the annual development and curation of the International Science Program Plan; 3.) Maintaining regular channels of communications within the International Science Program, through formal and informal interactions, collaborations and coordination with the Regional Chief Scientist's and Science Directors; 4.) Establishing new and strengthening existing relationships across ONR and the Naval Research and Development Establishment and 5.) Representing the International Science Program in the absence of the Program Manager.
