You will serve as a Office Assistant in the Commandant's Office, Bancroft Hall, United States Naval Academy of NAVAL ACADEMY.
Duties
You will maintain directives in active/inactive files for archival reasons and for access by personnel.
You will serve as central point of contact for forms design, control, and stock levels.
You will review outgoing correspondence for adherence to procedures, grammar, punctuation, format and special policies of the command.
You will transit up and down the stairs several times a day.
You will fill-in for our Front Office positions at times when personnel are unavailable.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Prepares various correspondence and reports written by the Administrative Officer; 2) Organizes and maintains the correspondence, message files, records, manuals and other related material within the office; 3) Types, tracks and distributes instructions and notices; and 4) Keeps files in orderly arrangement for easy retrieval of any directive by staff personnel.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
I have successfully completed four years of education above high school level
Or
I have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
