Duties

Manage, direct, coordinate, and oversee the work of subordinate staff. Perform the administrative and personnel management functions relative to staff supervised. Use expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis to resolve various management problems. Evaluate the effectiveness of programs or operations to meet established goals and objectives. Analyze new or amended legislation and develop policy and guidance covering administrative programs, activities, or functions for which the NCI has responsibility. Provide position management advice and recommendations to NCI managers regarding organizational realignments/changes. Establish and maintain methodologies and systems to collect and analyze data used in assessments, surveys, and creating reports and presentations by NCI senior staff.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship requirement or proof of being a U.S. National must be met by closing date.

Qualifications

You qualify at the GS-15 level, if you meet one of the following qualification requirements: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: managing the execution and oversight of administrative management requirements, including management and administrative policies, procedures, and evaluations; analyzing business data to ensure compliance with Federal requirements; analyzing the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of organizational programs and operations; developing and administering policies, procedures, and requirements for administrative programs and operations; and providing direction and oversight to the staff of an organization in accomplishing work programs and activities.
