About the Position: Incumbent serves as a Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) Senior Force Management, Integration and Documentation Analyst for multiple Army Commands and Major Units, with responsibilities for documentation of manpower, personnel and equipment requirements and authorizations, evaluation and application of organizational design/models, and implementation of staffing metrics.
Duties
Formulates and coordinates Army policy for manpower staffing standards development in AR 570-5.
Prepares written and oral reports on the results of manpower studies/issues
Conducts, participates in, and augments manpower surveys/studies teams in the analysis of missions, functions, workloads, and manpower/equipment needs.
Provides advice, develops new policy, and improves the efficiency and effectiveness of current processes, systems, and procedures.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position requires Automated Data Processing (ADP) computer skills.
- Position may involve Temporary Duty (TDY) business travel (CONUS and OCONUS); up to 30% of the time.
- Position is designated Critical-Sensitive (3) requiring the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance and subject to Random Drug Testing IAW AR 600-85 and Department of Defense Directive 2010.9.

GS-12
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1. Applying conventional methods to analyze information concerning management processes to draw conclusions and recommend appropriate action. 2. Utilizing quantitative techniques to conduct analysis needed to implement decisions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
GS-13
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1. Preparing written and oral reports on the results of manpower studies/issues; 2. Providing technical advice on force management requirements to determine, manpower and personnel management, organizational requirements and designs, and related tasks; 3. Recommending changes to regulations and other publications that affect Army manpower policies and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
