About the Position: This is a Program Manager, GS-0340-13 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Southwestern Division (SWD), Fort Worth District, Programs and Project Management Division. This is a permanent and full-time position. *A recruitment or relocation incentive up to 25% of the base salary may be authorized for this position*

Duties

Participate in programming decisions affecting long and short-range courses of action for assigned projects where Fort Worth District customers need this support. Manage the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scope, development, and direction of major Civil Works projects within the Fort Worth District. Coordinate the program planning, design, and implementation of competitive and non-competitive acquisitions through source selection processes for Fort Worth District programs of varying scope and complexity, as required. Serve as Program Manager responsible for management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned civil works projects. Implement Government decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12 or above). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementOral CommunicationProblem SolvingProject Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
