As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Serves as the Team Manager for the ATO AJV Service Center, Resource Management Group, Management and Administrative Support Team.
Duties
Manages, directs, and evaluates multiple projects, programs, and activities that support the organization's goals and objectives. Gathers and analyzes data and provides recommendations concerning broad and often complex projects, programs, and issues involving internal management systems and functional assignments. Manages the work of a large organization with support to multiple Service Units. Integrates work of various Service Units to meet the organization's strategic goals, participates in strategic planning for the FAA, and makes commitments for ATO.

- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

- Security Requirement: Moderate Risk (5): This position requires completion & favorable adjudication of a Moderate Risk Background Investigation (Tier 2) background investigation prior to appointment, unless waiver is obtained
Qualifications
Candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the (FV-J or FG/GS14) level that is typically in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience includes: Experience managing, coordinating, and providing technical advice, guidance, and recommendations on at least two of the following program areas: EEO, Accountability Board complaints, FAA Administrative Hotlines, Congressional inquiries, Freedom of Information Act requests; Performance Management; Awards; CASTLE, and Records/Directives Management. This experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Researching, interpreting, and applying laws and policies regarding program area; 2) Identifying, obtaining, and preparing documentation needed to plan, execute, and record actions associated with the program areas; 3) Communicating program area policies and procedures via presentations, briefings, and in writing.
