You will serve as a Pneudraulic Systems Inspector in the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO Production Department (JC30000) of FLTREADCEN EAST.
This will be Temporary NTE 2 years / Temporary actions taken under this announcement may be made permanent without further competition.
Duties
You will inspect work in pneudraulic systems trade, of overhauled, modified, fabricated, assembled, and repaired aircraft parts and components products, using wide variety and unit inspection processes and techniques.
You will apply a wide variety of inspection techniques to examine assemblies and systems that have been overhauled or repaired.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position is subject to loan or detail to other shops to meet production needs as necessary.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

A - 1) Performing verification inspections of the installation, modification, fabrication, overhaul and repair, disassembly and assembly tasks, performed by other worker and repairers in Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic trade with a variety of quality characteristic, specifications and tolerances using an assortment of equipment common to the trade; 2) Inspecting fabricated, overhauled, assembled, repaired aircraft parts and assemblies that have a variety of interconnecting parts, components, and assemblies with a variety of quality characteristics, rigid specifications, and close tolerances, using standard measuring and testing instruments comparable to the type used in the trade; 3) Performing, at the journey level, disassemble, repair, rebuild, modify, test, troubleshoot, and install more complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems that require more extensive repairing, testing, and troubleshooting sequences; 4) Assists and trains other mechanics and workers at a lower levels within the Pneudraulic Systems trade in the full range of their duties.
B - 1) Performing verification inspections of the installation, modification, fabrication, overhaul and repair, disassembly and assembly tasks, performed by other worker and repairers in Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic trade with a variety of quality characteristic, specifications and tolerances using an assortment of equipment common to the trade; 2) Assisting with the Inspection of fabricated, overhauled, assembled, repaired aircraft parts and assemblies that have a variety of interconnecting parts, components, and assemblies with a variety of quality characteristics, rigid specifications, and close tolerances, using standard measuring and testing instruments comparable to the type used in the trade; 3) Performing, at the intermediate level, standard, routine disassembly and assembly operations and make prescribed modifications to aircraft engines, engine assemblies, and accessories; Assisting other mechanics qualified at a higher level within the engine mechanic trade in the full range of their duties.
C - 1) Performing, at the intermediate level, a variety of disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, assembly, and maintenance of mechanical parts of aircraft components according to detailed maintenance and repair procedures; 2) Assisting other mechanics qualified at a higher level within the mechanical parts trade in the full range of their duties.
