You will serve as an Aircraft Examiner (Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic) in the Industrial Execution Department, Workload Scope Determination Division of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will review Maser Data Records (MDRs) and Schedule Removal Component (SRC) cards, to obtain documented information.
You will check Maintenance Action Forms (MAF) for reported discrepancies.
You will be working from applicable reword specifications, aircraft condition reports, schedules, and perform standard disassembly/overhaul directives.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION
A I have the ability to perform the most difficult and complex tasks including 1) Examine, evaluate, and analyze the condition of aircraft engine accessories and components to determine, specify and control the extent of disassembly and depth of rework; 2) Plan, lay out, and perform work involving the repair, test installation, and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems such as gas turbine fuel control systems, high pressure fuel pumps, gas generators, internal/external fuel systems; 3) Diagnose the cause of operational failures to determine the extent of repairs and whether to rework or replace faulty pneudraulic systems components; and 4) Troubleshoot, repair and test complex hydraulic and pneumatic components, subsystems, and systems such as fuel booster pumps and pressure regulators. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.
B I have the ability to perform the full range of tasks including 1) Examine and analyze the condition of aircraft engine accessories and components; 2) Diagnose the cause of operational failures, to determine the extent of repairs and whether to rework or replace faulty pneudraulic systems components; and 3) Troubleshoot, repair and test complex hydraulic and pneumatic components, subsystems, and systems such as fuel booster pumps and pressure regulators. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
C I have the ability to perform common tasks including 1) Repair and test hydraulic and pneumatic components, subsystems, and systems such as fuel booster pumps and pressure regulators; 2) Perform work involving the repair, test installation, maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems such as gas turbine fuel control systems, high pressure fuel pumps, gas generators, internal/external fuel systems. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
