You will serve as a PLANNER AND ESTIMATOR (Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic) in the Centralized Coordination Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will plan and lay out pneudraulic systems work using blueprints, schematics, technical orders, or other specifications.
You will develop work packages for pneudraulic systems projects.
You will coordinate with production controllers for authorization of additional funds before pneudraulic systems material requirements costs exceed the estimate.
You will interpret blueprints, detailed specifications, or technical directives to determine rework required on aircraft or components.
You will analyze cause of malfunctions of the pneudraulic systems to make repairs, adjustments, and perform final checks for operation.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to do the position without more than normal supervision. 1) Coordinate workload for the rework, repair, manufacture, and modification of pneudraulic systems and related components. 2) Review and monitor rework procedures on in-process workload. 3) Assigns start and completion dates for assigned workload to maintain desired customer requirements. 4) Determines and estimates material availability and shop capacity to support workload negotiations for new and assigned work. 5) Estimates judgement and sets overall rework priority. Negotiates workload contracts based on capability, technical date, material requirements/availability, facility, manpower, and shop capacity. 6) Prepares all mater schedules and estimator on cost, lead time, man-hours and material or prospective workload.
