About the Position: Position conducts strategic planning, analysis, and participates in policy matters, initiatives, and issues in the development of enlisted and officer human resource programs, guidance, and policies. Position is in Human Resources Command (HRC), Enlisted Personnel Management Directorate (EMPD), at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Duties

Conduct face-to-face sessions with key staffs within the staff to cultivate current and future interest of the command. Develop strategy for resolution of issues and initiatives. Provide analysis on a broad scope of personnel management issues.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 (NCS/SECRET) background investigation.
  • Must be able to perform business related travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the requirement has already been met.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
