About the Position: Plans, coordinates, and provides assistance on a variety of administrative and management support functions for the organization. Work requires application of a broad knowledge of the mission, organization, functions, policies, directives, and procedures pertinent to the operation of the Directorate.
Duties
Manages and directs centralized office support for correspondence, mail, records management, forms control and publications control.
Operates office automation equipment utilizing a variety of software to generate and edit a variety of correspondence, documents, charts, or reports.
Reviews and edits all output documents for accuracy, neatness, quality, and for regulatory compliance.
Requirements

- Obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

Proficiency Required:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing office automation systems to prepare material in final form from rough draft, brief written or oral instructions with correct use of format, spelling, and grammar; assisting with instructional material pertaining to administrative practices and clerical procedures; assisting with requests for personnel actions to maintain completion and timelines; and managing multiple calendars in a high pace environment.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
