Duties
Brief organizational leadership informing them of program effectiveness and productivity.
Enforce established internal and external quality control procedures to ensure that each test result can withstand review by legal forensics.
Develop training courses for Unit Prevention Leaders to ensure adherence to all regulations and policies.
Spot check samples to ensure they are packaged in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Provide training on receiving and collecting samples in order to prepare for shipment.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent will be certified by the DA DTC Certification Course within 9 months of assuming the duties. Failure to obtain certification or failure to maintain certification may result in administrative actions and removal from the position.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: Your resume must describe at least one year of experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, such as: Reviewing drug testing program reports and identifying discrepancies; Collecting, and shipping and handling specimens in accordance with regulations; AND Developing training materials to instruct others in the collection and handling of specimens. This experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
