This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision (RMS), Atlanta Regional Office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides operational support to RMS and the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection (DCP) professional and executive staff.

Duties
The incumbent works under the supervision of the Regional Director, Deputy Regional Director, Assistant Regional Director, ROMIG Chief or Regional Administrative Specialist. The incumbent provides operational support to RMS and DCP professional and executive staff. Major duties include:
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 06 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing four (4) of the following tasks: drafting correspondence, distribution and accountability of mail, tracking activities and project completion, filing records, receiving callers to the office, and using software to prepare written materials.
