About the Position: Responsible for various Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Soldier programs in the Reserve Personnel Management Directorate (RPMD) located within Human Resources Command (HRC).
Duties
Responsible for various Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Soldier programs.
Serves as subject matter expert concerning Reserve policies and regulations.
Responsible for processing and tracking all incoming actions relating to stabilizations, deletions/deferments, curtailments, compassionates and Stop Move/Stop Loss exception requests.
Prepares responses to requests for special actions, compassionates and staff actions requiring General Officer signature.
Makes determinations based on Department of the Army (DA) policy for special actions, compassionates and Stop Move/Stop Loss and prepares final determination for signature.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience:
I have one year of specialized experience in the Federal service which includes experience with applying of a variety of guidelines and requirements applicable to reserve personnel actions and activities. Ensure all military personnel management procedural and administrative tasks are performed in accordance with regulations and follow up on internal suspense's placed in multiple software programs. Obtain information and data from a variety of sources to complete the mission. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed as the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-07).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or completion
