This position is located in the Facilities Maintenance Branch, Division of Facility Management,
National Mall and Memorial Parks.
This position is designated Emergency Essential.

Duties
The major duties of the Electrician Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
Serves as a facility management expert and member of the park management team to develop and implement management strategies.
Assists in the park's annual preventive maintenance schedule and annual operating programs for the electric shop.
Provides technical advice, guidance, and support in the oversight of existing and proposed park facility buildings and utilities.
Plans and lays out electrical systems from drawing and interfaces new work with existing systems.
Identifies and corrects job safety and health hazards.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability to Lead or Supervise (SCREEN OUT)
Theory and Instruments (Electrical, Electronic) Used in Shop and Trade Practice
Knowledge of Electrical Equipment
Technical Practices
Ability to Use Electrical Drawings
Ability to Use and Maintain Hand Tools (Electrical Work)
Trouble shooting (Electrical)
SELECTIVE FACTOR: This position requires that the incumbent must possess and maintain a current and valid State or District of Columbia Journeyman Electrician's license. NOTE: A copy of your State or District of Columbia Journeyman Electrician's License will be requested during the pre-employment process if you are selected for this position. If you are not able to provide proof that you possess a Journeyman Electrician's License, your application will be withdrawn from consideration.
