About the Position: This Supervisory Military Test Plans Analyst position is located at the U.S. Army Operational Test Command, Airborne Special Operations Test Directorate, with a duty location of Fort Liberty, North Carolina (merit). The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command has various incentives that may be available for highly qualified candidates. Duties

Serves as a Supervisory Military Test Plans Analyst in a test directorate. Manages long and short-range test scheduling and planning with guidance from the test director. Develops recommendations in test support to maximize test success. Responsible for the conceptual design, planning, execution, and reporting results of operational tests, evaluations, and experiments. Provides training and guidance to assigned organization personnel. Reviews Operational Requirements Documents, Critical Operational Issues, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, System Evaluation Plans, Outline Test Plans, Event Design Plans, Detailed Test Plans, Test Data Reports, and Test Support Plans. Conducts research, reports findings, makes conclusions, and solves problems. Monitors workload and available resources, resolving conflicts or recommending course of action to decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Test and Evaluation Certification within 60 months of entrance on duty.
  • This position is subject to a Temporary Duty or business travel requirement of 40% or less of the time.
  • A one-year trial/ probationary period may be required.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
