Duties
You will carry out major assignments in conducting the operations of the Cybersecurity section of the Compliance Branch.
You will perform a wide variety of functions on a wide variety of Cyber issues.
You will draft and publish policy directives, design standards and procedures pertaining to system security architecture as it applies to Cyber Security, and associated documentation and reporting within the Marine Corps
You will develop policy, programs, and guidelines for implementation and analyze organizational cyber policy.
You will assess policy needs and collaborate with stakeholders to develop policies to govern cyber activities.
Requirements

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area Cyberspace Workforce level Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ability to perform impact/risk assessments; provide technical oversight and direction for technology solutions, identification, implementation, and validation; and, applying standard policies and procedures to the development and administration of cybersecurity architecture, risk management framework, and cyberspace operations.

IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: recommending improvements for operating processes.
