About the Position: This position is located at the Chemical School, DOT and Training Development on Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is in Pulaski County, Mo. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2hr. drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is a little more than an hour's drive of Fort Leonard Wood.

Duties

Perform duty as a Team Leader for an assigned work group, responsible to synchronize and link training acquisition with CBRN and HLS Defense along with Obscurant Force Modernization programs. Schedule team work and priorities, monitors work quality, and recommends schedule changes to program as required. Develop individual, new equipment/displaced equipment, and unit sustainment training strategies. Identify training support products, to include Training Aids, Devices, Simulations, and Simulators (TADSS). Participate in and provide training inputs to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) developing concepts, Capability Based Assessments (CBAs), Capability Development Document (CDD), and Capability Production Document (CPD). Develop, coordinate, and update the System Training Plan (STRAP) to support training requirements addressed in the CDD and/or CPD through Milestone C. Ensure health hazard assessments and safety are addressed in training products IAW ARs 40-10, 358-10, and 385-16. Prepare and coordinate the Test Training Support Package (TTSP) and Test Training Certification Plan (TTCP). Analyze and compile technical data, doctrine and operational concepts in order to prepare studies and evaluations or provide input to studies conducted in-house or by other agencies. Review proponent materiel and related items to determine shortcomings, design deficiencies, safety hazards and recommended corrective actions. Represent the Branch on a variety of committees and panels at Joint, DA, and TRADOC level, and serve as a Point of Contact (POC) for the development of training devices/simulations.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Education. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
