About the Position: This position is located at the 1st Engineer Brigade at Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri. Ft Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is a little more than an hour's drive to the West of Fort Leonard Wood.
Duties
Develop special projects and training initiatives that frequently involve broad training and education matters.
Develop new program methods, approaches, and technology
Direct quality assurance/control procedures for technical, construction and combat engineer courses.
Serve as liaison between 1st Engineer Brigade and the other services (NAVY, Marine, and Air Force).
Serve as troubleshooter to resolve inter-service training problems
Plans the work to be accomplished by subordinates.

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction,; developing or reviewing training/course materials, aids, devices, etc. for compliance with lesson plans, schedules, policies and procedures; evaluating training results; managing proper maintenance and accountability of equipment; and serving as a liaison between the Engineers and other services (Navy, Marine and Air Force).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
