Duties
You will upon case closure, conducts quality control check to ensure all documents are legible and accurately depict investigative steps taken, and ensures all media can be viewed.
You will review closed case files to ensure all physical and digital copies of files are complete in accordance with NCIS Case Management policy.
You will complete data entry and all administrative case file management and retention requirements.
You will coordinate disposal of all associated case evidence upon case closure.
You will develop and maintains reports as required.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
GS-05
Your resume must also demonstrate 3 years, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4 having:
Knowledge of DON, United States Marine Corps (USMC) and NCIS missions, organizations, and management procedures sufficient to serve as the RMB's primary point of contact for a wide array of programmatic, administrative, and management matters, such as case and records management across the criminal, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and cybercrime/security domains of the office.
GS-07
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Performs assignments which are planned to provide further technical development. This includes planning and performing a variety of administrative and program management functions and providing or ensuring such services as case and records management.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
