Duties
You will review and analyze National Defense and Joint resource directives and guidance in cybersecurity architectural implementations, resource allocations and fiscal limitations.
You will develop policy and procedures for the secure implementation of information technology solutions and monitor compliance with DoD and Joint processes and methodologies for cyber operations.
You will define and identify required operational capabilities and characteristics for cybersecurity systems and sub-systems and develop recommended modifications required to revise developmental projects.
You will develop, modify, and maintain cybersecurity plans, strategy, and policy for a major organization to support and align with changes.
You will develop policy, grogram's and guidelines for implementation, analyze organizational cyber policy, assess policy needs and collaborate with stakeholders to develop policies with stakeholders.
You will evaluate and develop directives to implement high-level policy changes that impact significant cybersecurity programs and projects.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 652 Intermediate Level.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Mastery of skill in applying advanced IT principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices to develop and interpret policies, provide expert technical advice, guidance and recommendations to management regarding interrelationships of multiple IT specialties.
