You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the AC/S Communication and Information Systems Division of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will advise and assist in a full range of official personnel actions, such as accessions, separations, promotions, transfers and miscellaneous changes.
You will maintain an up to date Table of Organization (T/O), integrated with names and statistical data.
You will plan, coordinate and administer the civilian employee training program/budget.
You will provide assistance and advice to supervisors on job placement and restructuring of positions to accommodate limited duty personnel.
You will provide assistance and advice to supervisors on various other supporting activities including Defense Travel System (DTS), Gov't Travel Charge Card (GTCC), and Records Management administration efforts.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising and assisting staff in Employee Services, Personnel/Staffing Support, Manpower Management and Training/Employee Development.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:Master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
