As the Educational Tools and Platforms Integration Manager in the Office of STEM (OSTEM) Engagement, you will be responsible for policies, procedures, operations, and other requirements needed to formulate, design, develop, and deliver agency and enterprise tools and platforms to facilitate and support NASA's STEM engagement efforts. You will lead a diverse, multi-disciplinary team in the development of the NASA STEM Gateway platform, and its operations and use.
Duties
Provides guidance and oversight to a multi-disciplinary development team in the formulation, design, development, deployment, and operations of agency and enterprise tools and platforms to facilitate and support NASA’s STEM engagement efforts.
Provides guidance and support to strategy, planning, development and deployment of platforms and systems for end-to-end execution of student and educator opportunities, including registration, implementation, performance measurement and assessment.
Provides strategic and operational guidance; orchestrates collaborations with stakeholder/user communities and integrates across organizations.
Coordinates work and priorities of team members, and initiates and/or incorporates new work methods, processes, and technology when feasible.
Provides guidance and expertise for requirements definition, analyzes design alternatives and recommends technical solutions for complete lifecycle of information systems, platforms, tools and their components.
Contributes to long-range planning for educational tools, platforms and systems, including forecasts for emerging technologies, acquisition and resource requirements for project formulation, development and deployment.
Provides direct support, guidance and expertise to the Educational Tools and Platforms Manager regarding overall strategy and implementation of the function.
Develops and establishes policies and processes toward identifying, fostering, and implementing best practices to enhance the enterprise Educational Tools and Platforms infrastructure.
Serves as an agency expert for educational tools and platform development. Provides expertise and technical guidance to agency leaders and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify at the GS-14 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level:
Developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and plans for information technology systems, platforms and/or tools to ensure efficiency and compliance;
Managing and/or oversight of information technology systems and platforms and operational risks to ensure achievement of strategic priorities and to improve customer experience;
Serving as an expert on platforms and system applications, applying knowledge in STEM education, strategic infrastructure, and integrated application development to advise and provide guidance.
