About the Position: This is a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist, NH-0346-04 position is assigned to PEO, C3T PMO MISSION COMMAND (6JD) READINESS MANAGEMENT DIVISION located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position is the PM MC RMD Materiel Fielding Branch Chief.
Duties
Functions as the Materiel Fielding Branch Chief, subject matter expert and team lead for the development and execution of Total Package Fielding, New Equipment Training, and hardware and software component integration.
Defines scope, interface requirements, policy issues and performance criteria. Oversees fielding and training data management and metrics analysis to improve performance.
Develops milestones for fielding and training related activities. Ensures compliance with policies and recommends policy changes to fit requirements of systems.
Performs the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties.
Responsible for understanding and actively supporting the PEO Affirmative Action/EEO Program, ensuring EEO principles are reflected in all aspects of personnel management.
Provides authoritative advice and recommendations that is considered technically authoritative and normally reviewed without change in situations where guidelines and procedures do not exist.
Leads strategic and tactical engagements and coordination with multiple PEOs, PMs, Army units, Senior Army leaders, and industry partners to ensure fielding priorities are met.
Leads a mixed team of US Army Civilians and Contractor Personnel who are stationed or performing their work at multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Lead the deployment of PM Mission Command capabilities to US Army units and mission partner organizations based on Department of Defense and Army priorities.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for LIFE CYCLE LOGISTICS Advanced Certification within 48 months of entry on duty.
- This position is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP) and requires a 3-year tenure agreement.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess 4 years of Acquisition experience.
- A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: 1) Developing life-cycle sustainment plans such as: acquisition strategy plans, development of training products and technical publications, conducting validation/verification events, and/or Materiel Release; 2) Leading Transition to Sustainment efforts on assigned programs with the command; AND, 3) Leading a Supportability Integrated Product and/or Process Team (SIPT) to integrate acquisition and product support activities for an Acquisition Category (ACAT) program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03 or GS-13).
