Duties

Work with customer at management levels to resolve problems affecting programs/projects; maintains effective relations with other logistics organizations to ensure support of mission requirements. Establish, manage, and control a comprehensive Logistics review and assessment program covering all programs assigned to the Command; optimizes, controls, and manages all resources across projects/programs. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities and selective considerations of the difficulties of assignments and capabilities of employees; identifies needs and makes provision for training and development of subordinates. Assess and provide strategic direction for resolution of mission critical problems, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.
• One-year supervisory probationary period may be required.
• This is a Critical Acquisition Position. Critical Acquisition Position. The incumbent must sign a 3 year tenure agreement.
• This is a Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position. The selectee must meet position requirements for Advanced level, Life Cycle Management certification within 5 years of EOD.
