You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command of NAVFAC OSF.

Duties

You will provide executive direction, assistance and support for all operations and activities of the Directorate. You will initiate and conducts studies and analyses on projects, issues, and problem cases. You will provide management information, advice, recommendations, and assistance to the Senior Executive and subordinate managers on a wide variety of projects, programs, issues, and initiatives. You will review and directs actions required for incoming and outgoing correspondence, actions, meetings, and briefings. You will work with other staff in the office of the Directorate to task and suspense requirements to appropriate activities, and follow up to ensure completion.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Monitoring and providing recommendation on a variety of complex projects, actions, and initiatives for Senior Executives; 2) Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to plan, conduct, and document comprehensive studies and reports; 3) Defining, discussing, and coordinating solutions to difficult organizational problems through group and individual relations within structured and unstructured situations; and 4) Utilizing office automation tools to coordinate and integrate the work of others into final products. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related

Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
