About the Position: As the Deputy Director, G4, the incumbent works under the direct supervision of the IMCOM G4, and SES Level position, and is expected to work within the framework of broadly defined technical and management objectives. Incumbent exercises maximum freedom in interfacing with all elements of the command as well as outside agencies.

Duties

Serve as Deputy Director, Facilities and Logistics, G4 Directorate, providing direct oversight to ensure the adequacy, propriety, and direction of administrative and current operations of the seven divisions. Resolves information management and directorate personnel challenges by making work decisions. Analyze operations, procedures and organizational structure of the division and makes recommendations for proposed changes. Directs the work of the organization through subordinate supervisors.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Conducting extensive coordination and integration of work within a large variety of external organizations to include other government agencies, academia and/or housing of families. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
