Duties
Provides oversight to budget process; interprets Director's budgetary guidance and ensures budget prioritization between divisions and interagency personnel.
Establishes program objectives, develops long range plans and identifies required resources in order to promote an efficient, economical, and progressive organization.
Provides executive leadership in the integration of the Command's mission with G9's objectives and operational performance.
Exercises delegated authority for the planning, execution, and collaborative efforts of Army FMWR programs through subordinate branches for Family Programs, Business Operations, and NAF Support Services.
Performs duties as the principal advisor to the Director on the development of policies, plans, and procedures affecting G9 programs and the 33K FMWR employees Army-wide.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position.
Extensive specialized work experience including at least one year at the NF-05 pay band/GS-14 or equivalent. The overall experience must be progressively responsible demonstrating a sound foundation in running a substantial program at an installation/ Region / Headquarters level or equivalent. Candidates must have experience demonstrating: Senior level experience in multiple program areas which required mastery in management principles, concepts, and techniques to successfully plan and manage Family and MWR programs. Must have extensive knowledge and work experience at ascending levels of responsibility which provided subject matter expertise on policy matters and complex issues concerning these programs. Ability to direct a multi-faceted organizational entity that manages several essential supporting and facilitative services. Ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds. Skill in maintaining effective working relationships with officials and executives inside and outside of a comparable organization. Comprehensive knowledge of DoD and Army regulations/directives, Executive Orders, Public Laws, policies, procedures, and issues affecting functional areas of responsibility. Ability to prepare and present formal briefings and speeches to senior officials, and to organize and conduct meetings of work groups and seminars. Ability to function as an advocate for soldiers and families and represent their concerns to senior leadership of the Army.

Narrative 5: Describe how you have coordinated initiatives from ideation to implementation. Provide detail on the processes, techniques, communication tools, or other methods used; as well as how you developed networks and alliance to achieve common goals.
