You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst (Counter-Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems) under the Force Protection Program Officer, Operations Directorate, of Commander, Naval Installations Command (CNIC).

Duties

You will provide support to equip, develop, analyze, plan, coordinate and evaluate procedures, standards, training and methods for Counter Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) defense in depth. You will assist Security Operations Department Leads in development of C-sUAS tactics, techniques and procedures, administrative correspondence, directives, presentations and informational briefs. You will develop guidance for subordinate activities and perform continual appraisal of the utilization of command resources in accomplishing program goals and objectives. You will perform the duties of the CNIC C-sUAS Subject Matter Expert (SME), responsible for the development, implementation and assessment of all C-sUAS policies as required. You will develop and conduct executive-level briefs, support completion of reports as required and assist with C-sUAS reporting requirements for actual incidents.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS 12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Administering or assisting in the administration of a Counter - Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) program for a large DoN organization; 2) Developing and/or coordinating C-sUAS security planning and policy, providing guidance for subordinate activities; 3) Assisting in the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution processes related to administration of a C-sUAS program; and 4) Providing C-sUAS training to a wide variety of customers.
