You will serve as a MANAGER in the Acquisition and Contracting Support group (Code 702) in the Major Test Programs and Industrial Support Department (Department 70) of NSWC PHILA DIV.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-06 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15.
Duties
You will be responsible for the management functions essential to the operation of the department acquisition organization and will provide the support necessary to accomplish the organization’s mission.
You will provide oversight and advise the Department Head and Deputy Department Head and Land Based Engineering Site (LBES)/Test Program Personnel in the areas of acquisition and contracting.
You will collaborate with senior NAVSEA acquisition program personnel and NAVSEA technical authorities to develop acquisition objectives, plans and priorities.
You will utilize expertise in contracting, acquisition, business operations, and financial execution to advance Hull, Mechanical and Electrical test programs and related acquisition and contracting requirements to advance test program goals.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-05 (GS-13 and 14) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading acquisition planning and coordination for Major Test Programs execution at the Departments and Commands levels.
