You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties
You will formulate budget and estimations to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities.
You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.
You will implement internal controls and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization’s programs and activities.
You will assign work to subordinates based on employee’s capabilities, priorities and difficulty.
You will hear and resolve employee complaints, referring serious complaints lacking resolution to higher level supervision.
You will identify and arrange for employee developmental and training requirements.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations; 2) Implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets; 3) Implementing internal controls and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities; 4) Developing, recommending and implementing budgetary/financial policies; 5) Utilizing an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or SAP (System Application and Products) Program to produce auditable financial reports; 6) Conducting internal and external financial/budget audits; 7) Assigning work to subordinates based on employee's capabilities, priorities and difficulty.
