You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANGEMENT ANALYST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will utilize a mastery of budget execution principles and concepts to oversee reimbursable budgetary operations.
You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.
You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommends alternatives for corrective action.
You will ensure the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and
financial management reports.
You will assign work to subordinates based on employee’s capabilities, priorities and difficulty and develop performance standards and evaluates employee performance.
Requirements

- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
I have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Designing, implementing and assessing internal control processes and testing procedures to solve a variety of accounting and/or auditing problems; 2) Researching and investigating new or improved business and financial management practices to mitigate organizational risk and audit deficiencies; 3) Preparing and delivering briefs on financial and budgetary data to upper management; 4) Providing strategic guidance and leadership on financial and workforce management requirements to subordinate personnel; 5) Coordinating the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks; and 6) Conducting management evaluation of financial issues raised in audit reports and budget reviews and recommending alternative solutions.
