This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This Logistics Management Specialist, NH-0346-03 position is assigned to PEO, C3T PMO I2S (6MG) PDM TCNO located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
Duties
Manage the planning, development, and execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) for major complex systems that encompass new and emerging technologies or complicated fielding requirements.
Responsible for cradle to grave intensive product support management to support complex, major weapon systems from concept through field deployment.
Plans for and manages Transition to Sustainment.
Manages the processes of planning, directing, managing, monitoring, and evaluating Integrated Product Support throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
Develops and ensures the implementation of corrective actions and changes to the product support strategy to reflect new requirements and technologies.
Coordinates with stakeholders of other commands, DOD components, and contractors.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One-year probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for Practitioner certification in Acquisition Career Field BUSINESS - FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (BUS-FM) within 60 months for entrance on duty.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as the following duties: 1) Leading the planning, development, OR execution of integrated product support for materiel acquisition programs. 2) Analyzing programmatic requirements to resolve complex logistics problems affecting numerous activities.; 3) Analyzing cross-organizational integration of product support strategies on a portfolio of communications equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS11).
