Duties
As a Program Management Officer you will:
Monitor the budget to ensure effective utilization of resource.
Recommend change in the allocation and utilization of resource within budget categories to increase effectiveness and efficiency in achieving established goal.
Review periodic report of expenditure pattern and recommend appropriate adjustment in fiscal spending as needed.
Serve as the principal liaison on all management issue and policy related to the conduct of administrative program and budget administration.
Provide managerial, technical, and administrative direction on planning, conducting, and evaluating the program operation and field activity associated with achieving their respective goal.
Assess all new project to ensure that sound managerial concept and practice are being applied and that budget estimate are accurate, complete, and within the resource of the organization.
Develop the management policy and program goal and objective of the organization in coordination with senior management.
Evaluate the effect of management planning on program objective by identifying problem, analyzing their cause, and providing recommendation for problem resolution to senior leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, which must include the following experience: leading a team in providing administrative, logistical, and operational support; leading the execution of budget, extramural, and human resource actions with knowledge of systems, policies, and procedures.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
