You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (INFORMATION SYSTEMS) in the Operations Program Support of the Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR) Operations.
Duties
You will conduct and analyze special projects and/or studies to identify outstanding business practices and evaluate Human Resources (HR) program effectiveness.
You will improve accuracy and execution of civilian personnel actions and originate complex and unusual solutions to identified problems.
You will monitor the implementation of accepted proposals and provide feedback to stakeholders through information examination and reporting.
You will serve as staff specialist charged with full technical responsibility for one or more enterprise-wide civilian personnel management programs assignments.
You will design complicated management surveys, reviews, and research projects and provides advisory services and/or solutions to complex problems.
You will use statistical audit sampling procedures and projection of results throughout various issues across different organizational areas.
You will develop automation to ease the implementation and assessment of a policy, process, or procedure.
You will develop briefings, presentation material and white papers that summarize the results of project evaluations using a variety of software products.
You will ensure that all policy, regulatory and program issuances are properly integrated with other staff actions and are thereby fully supportive of the mission requirements.
You will collaborate with internal and external organizations advance the mission and make recommendations to decision-makers on how to best shape their programs.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing management advisory services concerning personnel management; resolving issues pertaining to various civilian Human Resources (HR) program areas; and developing guidance, procedures and standards for new and/or changing Human Resources (HR) program areas.
