Serves as the Deputy Director of the Security and Compliance Directorate responsible for providing direction, guidance, and supervision for all activities within the directorate that directly and indirectly support the accomplishment of JWAC.
Duties

Serves as the subject matter expert with substantial depth of security protocols, practices, policies to advise senior leadership on all security matters.
Develop and effectively communicate quantitative and qualitive security data to derive insights from data to inform decision making and strategy.
Develop long-term strategic plans while overseeing tactical execution, aligning security initiatives with organizational goals.
Develop and present reports and briefings on status of security initiatives and recommend actions to key internal and external partners.
Coordinates SSO, GSSO, and Compliance efforts to ensure compliance fulfilment and provides security guidance for all levels of SAP, SCI, and GENSER security.

Qualifications
Only applicants who meet the area of consideration are eligible to apply for this job. In order to qualify for this position you must meet the basic education and/or specialized experience requirements.
DO-3: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DO-2/GS-13 grade level. Specialized Experience is defined as work in the private or public sector performing duties in or related to the work of the position being filled. Examples of specialized experience include:
1) Overseeing the day to day operations of command-wide security programs to include physical security, Force Protection/Anti-Terrorism, personnel security, operational security, foreign disclosure, and security education to ensure compliance with local and federal security policies and regulations, 2) Problem Solving to provide authoritative information and assistance as the technical expert in all matters relating to security, and 3) Effective communications skills to document complex technical, programmatic, or management information across multiple organizational levels both orally and in writing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge and skill to manage security programs and policies across multiple classification levels and security environments.
Ability to resolve critical problems or develop mitigating strategies to governing policies to effectively execute the mission.
Expert knowledge in security policies and procedures that are germane to GENSER, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and Special Access Programs.
Experience in managing intelligence oversight (IO) policies and procedures within a multi-compartmented security environment is highly desirable.
Experience in managing security programs within a science, engineering, and/or analytic environment is highly desirable.
