Duties
You will administer Information Security matters (e.g., Anti-Terrorism, Force Protection, classified material storage) to evaluate the effectiveness of the security program.
You will conduct Information Security audits to identify deficiencies in security protocols.
You will review Physical Security assessments to identify security threats.
You will analyze data to develop reports that identify system vulnerability and actions taken to resolve the issues.
Requirements

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This position is considered ESSENTIAL therefore the incumbent may be recalled as required. Incumbent will be considered ESSENTIAL Personnel.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting protective and physical security surveys; 2) Using subject matter content, instructional materials, and training techniques/methods to conduct formal and/or informal crime prevention and employee awareness programs; 3) Performing protective functions and responsibilities as established by policies, procedures, and regulations to promote, plan, and/or improve security systems; and 4) Analyzing and evaluating statistical data and crime tends for use in the preparation of oral or written reports on findings and recommendations for the prevention of future occurrences.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successfully completed Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
Successfully 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
Successfully completed LL.M., if related
