About the Position: Position is located at US Army Cadet Command Deputy Chief of Staff, G1 Accessions and Standards Division, Fort Knox, KY.
Duties
Conduct studies, analyze data and prepare reports relative to systemic and non-systemic human resources management officer accessions programs.
Review information on existing systems, including format and volume of source data for input and output, and processing steps.
Administer officer accession program using human resources management systems to include Information Management System, Army Training Requirements Resources System, Automated Actions and advanced software programs and automated statistical reports.
Perform human resources tasks involved in management of new accessions until they are either assigned to the Reserve Component or enter Active Duty.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required 5% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- One-year probationary period may be required.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work of this job. Specialized experience is defined as: work involving analyzing data and producing effective analytical reports through Command Automated Databases, recruiter management processes, documentation, and general military human resources management operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
Education

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree (NOTE: You much attach a copy of your transcripts.)
Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
