About the Position: Serve as a Management and Program Analyst and senior advisor responsible for supporting the Science and Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL) Personnel Demonstration Project (Lab Demo) within the Technical Center, U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, located at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
Duties
Serve as a senior management advisor in planning, organizing, and leading extensive efforts for Center-wide programs and Human Capital efforts pertaining to recruitment, retention, intern and outreach programs, and performance management.
Research, plan, develop, and issue definitive guidance, policies, and procedures relevant to the Lab Demo.
Plan, initiate, and lead efforts to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and flexibility of Lab Demo programs.
Systematically collect, analyze, and interpret data and lead program evaluation of the Lab Demo.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a two year probationary period for newly hired employees per the Federal Register, (85 FR 3350). While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required up to 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Managing a wide variety of Lab Demo, personnel, and Human Resources programs and initiatives; 2) Advising senior leaders on organizational and program effectiveness; 3) Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of government programs; and 4) Interpreting and developing regulations, policies, and procedures.
