This position is located in Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
As an Management and Program Analyst, you will serve as an analyst or advisor on developing and preparing reports, technical briefings, white papers and other communications necessary to attain concurrence and investment in OCFO initiatives.
Duties
Providing advice to executive management and prepares reports, technical briefings, white papers and other communications vehicles necessary to the attainment of the concurrence and investment in OCFO program initiatives.
Reviews the formulation of budget estimates and justifications for conflicting program and budgetary requirements.
Reviews and assists in the recommendation of the modification of budget requests and justifications.
Ensures that technical requirements in contracts are met and performs detailed analyses of cost for contract proposals.
Maintains open communications between Contracting, Program leaders and contractors to assist in determining quality of performance, compliance, and contract completion.
Provides technical support, monitoring, and documentation for the most complex and mission critical contracts within the agency involving significant program management activities.
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 10/24/2024.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 10/24/2024.
GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Advising and recommending solutions to management on internal controls in project plans, operating plans, and supporting budgets;
Reviewing financial and budget control statements to advise management on the status of funds;
Overseeing contract programs, to provide necessary resources for various programs in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations; (FAR), and other federal laws, rules, and regulations;
Developing, evaluating, analyzing and interpreting policies to resolve complex problems and its impact.
