You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the AVIATION COMBAT ELEMENT of MARINE CORPS COMBAT DEVELOPMENT CMD.
Duties
You will identify opportunities and make recommendations for Marine Corps support and participation in joint capabilities development workshops, seminars, war-games, working groups, conferences, and integrated process team meetings.
You will assist in the management of manned and unmanned TACAIR related capabilities list and gap analysis.
You will provide technical expertise, advice, and evaluation of technical and operational matters involved in the execution of all TACAIR related, AVIB functions.
You will assist representatives from other commands and agencies in the development of testing and evaluation criteria for TACAIR systems.
You will review and analyze emerging joint capabilities and concepts, and initiate, as appropriate, the staffing of recommended changes and revisions.
Requirements

- The incumbent must complete Requirements Management Certification Training as outlined in CJCSI 3170.01H within six months of assuming the position.
- The incumbent must complete Total Force Structure Management System Super User training within six months of assuming the position.
- This position requires a valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License.
- This position may require the incumbent to travel to, and live in, austere field training environments and hostile environments inside and outside the continental Unites States.
- The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing oversight to branch personnel in determining and recommending courses of action to be taken with regard to all Tactical Aviation (TACAIR) materiel and non-materiel capabilities development.
