About the Position: This position is a This is a TERM position Not to Exceed (NTE) 30 September 2025 position located within the US Army Maneuver Support Center of Excellence, U.S. Army Military Police School, Directorate of Training and Leader Development, Special Victims Capabilities Division, at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. ***NOTE: If you are NOT a current Army employee and want to be considered for this position, you must apply to Announcement Number SDSB244122911430JOA2.***

Duties

Develop a training plan in concert with the priorities outlined in the Department of Defense directives and Department of the Army Policy. Plan and develop the approach to accomplish resident and mobile Behavioral Sciences Education and Training Division training and related tasks, and methodology to be utilized. Assist in course administration through scheduling classes, requesting support materials for classes and maintaining class records to include student academic records. Coordinate training requirements to ensure requested training needs are met in a timely manner with existing resources. Promote, produce and present valid Family Advocacy Law Enforcement Training to Department of Defense students in accordance with governing laws, regulations, directives, and programs of instruction.

Requirements

• Must obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• The incumbent of this position must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) is required approximately 30% of the duty time.
• The incumbent of this position may be required to perform shift work, work irregular tours of duty, overtime and work weekends and holidays.
• Pre-employment physical required. Position may also require an annual physical or medical surveillance examination. Heavy physical lifting of items up to and including 50 pounds will be required.
• This position requires the employee drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license is required for the position.
• This position requires Army Basic Instructor Course and Small Group Instructor Certification. The employee must successfully graduate the USAMPS courses assigned, not limited to, Instructor Training and Small Group Leader Courses.

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled, such as, Social Sciences. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
