You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the MRO Production Department, Production Lines Division of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will exercise full responsibility and accountability for the planning, directing, controlling, administration, and execution of all program elements and resources and for the technical direction/guidance of the program Team personnel. You will serve as the commands point-of-contact for all issues associated with your Team. You will assist in ensuring that short and long range manpower requirements for assigned projects are developed and maintained for completing workload obtained through Fleet Readiness Support Meeting (FRSM). You will serve as a representative for the command at various program meetings, including Program Manger Reviews (PMR) and Modification Management Meetings, etc.

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, directing, controlling, administering, and executing the program elements and resources of the Strategic Business Team to provide technical direction and guidance to the program; 2) Ensuring short and long range manpower requirements are developed to maintain the workload obtained through the Fleet Readiness Support Meetings (FRSM); 3) Analyzing data to ensure production of quality product on schedule and cost to identify any variances or deficiencies in cost, schedule or quality; 4) Identifying depot processing deficiencies and sponsors Process Action Teams to improve the process in various areas; 5) Providing oversight in the development of work breakdown structure to ensure their completion with cost effectiveness and schedule efficiency maximized.
