You will serve as a Supervisory Business Management Specialist in Quality and Compliance Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will develop plans to address business factors that influence quality performance metrics and strategic plans to accomplish command's mission.
You will plan and conduct follow-up inspections to prevent and effect the appropriate correction of deficiencies.
You will develop quality assurance processes and methods organizing preparation of quality assurance plans, audit specifications, and inspection reports.
You will identify process constraints and highlights problems and issues to branch and division heads to ensure optimal time execution of quality assurance programs.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Planning, coordinating, and executing project management for a range of process quality activities to improve leadership, management, assessment, measurement, and outputs of the quality management system while conformity to the NAMP; 2) Evaluating, advising, and reviewing analytical assessments of preventive and corrective actions related to quality compliance deficiencies to determine effectiveness and advise of or execute changes as required; 3) Defining, establishing, and monitoring Key Performance Indicators for process quality performance; 4) Developing and implementing quality engineering and process change management policies, controls, surveillance, audit, or inspection techniques, and operating procedures for overall planning, direction, and timely execution of assigned programs; 5) Supervising quality engineering team personnel and overseeing section level performance of audit and investigative functions with staff whose backgrounds, skills and experience are based in a wide array of technical, audit, compliance policy, and process management skills; 6) Managing and directing the analysis, design, integration, and maintenance of the Quality Compliance processes.
