You will serve as a Supervisory Business Management Specialist in the Compliance Division of the Compliance and Quality Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will perform strategic planning, both-long term and short term, to identify future safety and environmental initiatives or to improve and take advantage of emerging business opportunities.
You will identify program trends through data analysis and direct the implementation of corrective action plans.
You will develop solutions in solving safety and environmental related issues associated with production work.
You will analyze reports or studies to report discrepancies impacting project completion.
You will examine legal or audit decisions to determine impact on procurement and other production efforts.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Advising senior leaders, supervisors and personnel on all safety and environmental factors relative to high-risk industrial operations involving facilities, equipment and industrial processes; 2) Identifying and managing external or internal continuous process improvement initiatives and new or emerging industrial safety and environmental technologies that would reduce compliance risks; 3) Negotiating and coordinating complex issues pertaining to Occupational, Safety and Health (OSH) Federal, State and local Environmental requirements for the Command and collaborating with COMFRC regarding critical OSH matters, preparing contingency plans to ensure coordination of efforts in the event of a mishap; and recommending safety improvements; 4) Developing and implementing management policies, controls, and operating procedures for overall planning, direction, and timely execution of OSH, SMS, and EMS including the operational requirements, research development, production, maintenance, and training; 5) Developing and analyzing internal and external metrics, audits, hazard analysis and process control methods and creating executive level reports to identify and communicate adverse FRCE safety and environmental compliance trends, best practices and systemic issues; 6) Planning, coordinating, directs, and supervising through subordinate supervisors and team leaders all required mission and functional activities.
